Location: Must reside in the Washington, DC Metro Area; primarily telework with occasional onsite work in Silver Spring, MD or Falls Church, VA.

What you will do

• Identify mental health practices, programs, and policies suitable for translation and implementation across the Military Health System.
• Support multi-site pilot studies evaluating the feasibility and acceptability of novel evidence-based practices.
• Develop knowledge translation, implementation support, monitoring, and data collection tools.
• Monitor pilot sites, facilitate outreach, and identify implementation barriers, facilitators, lessons learned, and best practices.
• Prepare summative reports, implementation guides, professional manuscripts, psychoeducational materials, and clinical support products.
• Provide logistics and meeting support for mental health working groups and incorporate feedback from multiple client sources.

Requirements

• PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an APA- or CPA-accredited graduate program.
• At least 8 years of full-time post-doctoral clinical psychology experience.
• At least 2 years of experience developing tools or training to support evidence-based mental health care.
• At least 2 years of experience translating clinical research findings into healthcare delivery systems.
• Strong organizational, collaboration, program development, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.

Nice to have

• Experience with mental healthcare research translation, federal contracting, or Department of War and military mental health.
• APA- or CPA-accredited professional psychology internship.
• Current psychology license.
• Peer-reviewed publications relevant to military healthcare.
• Experience communicating clinical processes and solutions to diverse audiences.
