Embedded Engineer (Qualcomm QCS)

Location: Fully onsite in the USA, with work at client office locations in Santa Clara, Campbell, and San Jose, California

What you will do

• Perform board bring-up for Qualcomm QCS-based hardware platforms.
• Develop and customize BSPs, Linux kernels, device trees, and device drivers.
• Support hardware validation and hardware-software system integration.
• Debug bootloader, kernel, driver, platform, and peripheral issues.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and product engineering teams.
• Optimize system stability, performance, and power consumption.

Requirements

• Must be ITAR compliant and eligible for an export license or qualify as a U.S. Person.
• Hands-on experience with Qualcomm QCS platforms such as QCS6490, QCS8550, QCS5430, QCS610, or QCS8250.
• Strong embedded Linux development and C/C++ programming experience.
• Experience with board bring-up, hardware-software integration, ARM architectures, and embedded debugging.
• Experience interfacing UART, SPI, I2C, USB, PCIe, Ethernet, MIPI CSI, and DSI peripherals.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.

• Yocto Linux experience.
