Software Engineering Undergraduate Intern (System Software)

Location: Munich, Germany. Hybrid work model with time split between the assigned hirify.global site and off-site work.

Minimum annual salary: €11,870.

What you will do

• Support the design, development, and validation of the hirify.global Graphics Compiler.
• Optimize software performance across hirify.global platforms with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to system software and reference platform development.
• Work on engineering projects involving firmware, drivers, operating systems, and middleware.
• Apply academic and project-based knowledge to solve technical challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with 0–1 years of experience through internships, academic projects, coursework, or practical training, or a relevant master’s degree with no prior professional experience.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++.
• Basic understanding of operating systems, computer architecture, or related areas.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Availability for the hybrid role in Munich, Germany.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLVM.
• Knowledge of OpenCL, CUDA, or SYCL.
• Interest in compiler technologies, performance optimization, or systems programming.
