Industrial Maintenance Technician III

Location: 902 Feehanville Dr, Mt Prospect, Illinois, United States. Onsite, first shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Starting pay: $32–$40 per hour.

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair industrial machinery, including 3-phase electrical controls, PLC systems, DC drives, motors, pneumatic tools, and conveyors.
• Perform planned, predictive, and preventive maintenance, equipment calibration, and circuit and wiring inspections.
• Partner with engineering and production teams to improve machinery, reduce downtime, and eliminate safety risks.
• Order replacement parts and maintain accurate repair and maintenance logs.
• Follow OSHA standards and maintain a clean and safe maintenance environment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of multi-craft electrical and mechanical industrial maintenance experience, or a trade school certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with 3-phase power, PLC systems, relay logic, motor controls, DC drives, electrical conduit installation, and testing devices such as ammeters and meggers.
• Mechanical tool repair, pneumatics, basic plumbing, HVAC, masonry, and general facility maintenance skills.
• Ability to read schematics, prints, technical drawings, and machine-system documentation.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and work short-notice overtime when production requires.
• Successful completion of a post-offer background check and drug screening is required.
