Estimated starting salary: $98,633.53–$135,621.11 per year, plus performance-based annual incentive pay.

What you will do
- Implement and manage inspection standards, methods, and procedures for a smaller, less-complex repair station.
- Support aircraft airworthiness certification by signing off inspections and aircraft releases.
- Coordinate inspections for scheduled maintenance, aircraft modifications, and component changes.
- Verify the use of approved equipment and materials and maintain high workmanship standards.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and maintain detailed inspection and certification records.
- Assist with internal audits and ensure compliance with applicable aviation and defense regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience; 9 years of related experience may substitute for the degree.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and aviation inspection practices.
- Active, current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification and Inspection Authorization designation.
- Advanced knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, equipment, and parts, including troubleshooting and technical documentation.
- Practical experience with audit and inspection processes and procedures.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret U.S. security clearance are required.
Nice to have
- Experience with EASA regulations and DCMA guidelines.
- Previous supervisory, managerial, or lead experience.
- Experience recruiting, directing, evaluating, and developing staff.
- Background in aerospace and defense, the U.S. Department of Defense, or the U.S. military.
