EHS Professional (Gas Turbines)

Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada; multi-site facility support required

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs across multiple facilities.
• Create and update standard operating procedures aligned with Canadian federal and provincial regulations, including CNESST requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, safety audits, and compliance monitoring.
• Develop long-term safety strategies, analyze incident trends and KPIs, and report performance to leadership.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Deliver safety training, emergency response drills, and onboarding for employees and contractors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5–8 years of progressive EHS experience, preferably in heavy industry, manufacturing, or gas turbines.
• Experience managing health and safety programs for 500+ employees across multiple facilities.
• Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation or equivalent.
• Certified EHS Auditor qualification or equivalent safety certification.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian EHS regulations and experience with multi-site safety coordination.
