IT Asset Management (ITAM) Manager

Location: New Brunswick, Canada. Reliability Status Clearance requires candidates to have resided in Canada for at least five years and hold Canadian Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizenship status.

Base pay: 88,158–99,177 CAD per year, with potential eligibility for discretionary performance-based incentive programs.

What you will do

• Lead and continuously mature the enterprise IT Asset Management practice across hardware, software, licensing, cloud subscriptions, and lifecycle data.
• Develop and maintain ITAM policies, standards, governance controls, lifecycle processes, and operating procedures.
• Improve the visibility, accuracy, ownership, and integrity of asset inventories, registers, configuration records, and service management data.
• Lead software licensing oversight, audit readiness, evidence management, and controls for unmanaged or unauthorized assets.
• Partner with IT Operations, Finance, Procurement, Security, service owners, and technical teams on lifecycle planning, renewals, cost optimization, risk management, and service reliability.
• Define requirements for ITAM tools, integrations, dashboards, reporting, and automation while delivering recommendations to optimize technology investments.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in IT Asset Management, IT Service Management, and/or IT Operations.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience; a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IT asset lifecycle management, asset registers, inventories, software licensing, compliance, reporting, and governance controls.
• Experience with ITAM and ITSM tools, reporting, data management, integrations, dashboards, and automation.
• ITIL 4 Foundation certification is required.
• English proficiency, written and verbal, is required. Candidates must meet Canadian residency, citizenship or permanent-resident, and reliability-clearance requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• Experience designing, maturing, and governing enterprise-scale ITAM practices.
• Additional IT Asset Management certifications.
• Bilingualism in English and French.
