QA Manager (Medical Devices)

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; onsite

Salary: CAD 114,600–171,800 annually

What you will do

• Manage quality and regulatory compliance for applicable products, processes, distribution regions, and product life cycles.
• Coordinate with US Product Divisions, global service organizations, suppliers, manufacturing, and internal stakeholders to support product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Identify and manage continuous improvement projects.
• Support product evaluations, design planning, testing, inspections, and process validations from a quality assurance and regulatory perspective.
• Investigate and resolve product and production quality issues with internal and external customers.

Requirements

• BSc in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.
• At least 4 years of experience with medical device or drug combination product platforms, design controls, risk management, and regulated quality systems.
• Knowledge of Health Canada requirements, drug GMP, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, MDSAP, MDR, and related standards.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
• Experience analyzing and reporting data, coordinating concurrent projects, managing competing priorities, and meeting critical deadlines.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis functions.

Nice to have

• Experience in medical devices, particularly dental, operating room or surgical instruments, or orthopaedics.
• Experience with drug GMPs.
