Fenergo / KYC Technical Leader

Location: Málaga, Spain; 100% remote setup

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership within a KYC Due Diligence squad.
• Lead the delivery and evolution of Fenergo/Fen-X and Client Lifecycle Management capabilities.
• Design and develop Java-based solutions hands-on.
• Translate KYC, onboarding, screening, and risk-assessment requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Define technical standards, priorities, delivery approaches, and workforce capabilities for the squad.
• Review designs and code, guide developers, and manage technical risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of relevant professional experience with proven technical leadership responsibilities.
• Demonstrable enterprise delivery experience with Fenergo/Fen-X.
• Strong knowledge of Client Lifecycle Management, KYC, Due Diligence, onboarding, screening, and risk assessment.
• Senior-level hands-on Java development experience.
• Experience guiding developers, leading technical discussions, and coordinating squad delivery.
• Advanced English at C1 level required.

Nice to have

• Experience simplifying complex or legacy architectures.
• Exposure to AI-enabled transformation in KYC, CLM, compliance, or financial crime.
• Experience with workforce, skills, or delivery-capacity strategies.
• Knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, workflow platforms, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with global banking or financial-services organizations and related stakeholders.
