GCP Data Architect

What you will do

• Design and develop modern data platforms based on Google Cloud technologies.
• Design data and application architectures, data flows, integrations, and end-to-end processing solutions.
• Select appropriate GCP services and support key technology decisions across the platform.
• Design disaster recovery and data-retention mechanisms.
• Enable CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Facilitate architecture workshops with technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing data architectures on Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with end-to-end data ingestion and processing, data modelling, and data-flow design.
• Knowledge of BigQuery and either DBT or Dataproc.
• Experience with Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Composer, GitHub Enterprise Cloud, CI/CD, and Terraform.
• Understanding of Medallion and Hub & Spoke architecture patterns, event-driven architectures, data retention, purging, and disaster recovery.
• Ability to create HLD, LLD, ADR documentation and architectural diagrams, present architectural decisions, and conduct workshops.

• Experience with enterprise-scale cloud data platforms.
