Senior Technical Lead – Software Development (Banking)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal — hybrid work model. Candidates must have an existing legal right to work in the European Union.

What you will do

• Lead the technical design of user stories and features according to CAA standards, with emphasis on non-functional requirements.
• Guide squads on technical architecture, design priorities, development standards, peer reviews, and unit test automation.
• Specify and validate technical enablers, manage technical debt, and maintain standards-compliant technical documentation.
• Oversee component integration into CI/CD pipelines, including testing and compliance with non-functional requirements.
• Drive technical industrialization initiatives and maintain Debt Scores for components within scope.
• Support technical upskilling and continuous improvement across the team.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in software development or technical leadership.
• Proven ability to design and implement complex systems using industry best practices.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, integration, and testing.
• Experience with technical documentation and CI/CD processes.
• Communicative English and good command of French are required.
• Existing legal right to work in the European Union is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with banking or financial-sector software.
• Certifications or practical knowledge in software architecture or DevOps.
