Stress Engineer - Dynamic Components (Aerospace)

Location: Lodz, Poland; hybrid home-office arrangement

hirify.global Defence and Space and hirify.global Helicopters Polska develop and support aerospace and rotorcraft products, including dynamic components for helicopters.

What you will do

• Perform static stress analysis, fatigue assessments, and damage tolerance analyses for helicopter dynamic components such as transmissions and rotors.
• Prepare airworthiness justification documents and support compliance with CS-27 and CS-29 requirements.
• Support full-scale and component testing by validating simulation results against test data.
• Optimize and size mechanical solutions across conceptual design, certification, production, fleet support, and product improvement.
• Improve internal engineering methods and tools, including automation of calculation routines with Python.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, or structural engineering.
• Experience with static stress analysis, fatigue and damage tolerance, and related processes, methods, and tools.
• Understanding of aerospace certification processes.
• Proficiency with FEA platforms such as Simcenter, HyperWorks, Samcef, Nastran, or Patran.
• Fluent English is required as the working language.
• Strong attention to detail, collaborative skills, and commitment to safety and innovation.
