Hardware Architect Engineer (Automotive / e-Mobility)

Location: Kraków, Poland — elastic hybrid model with 2–3 days per week from the office

Salary: 1,200–1,400 PLN/day on B2B

What you will do

• Analyze customer hardware requirements and translate them into scalable hardware architecture, system designs, and interfaces.
• Decompose requirements into architectural blocks and coordinate with electronics, mechanical, validation, and manufacturing teams.
• Create and maintain Product Definition Documents and manage engineering changes.
• Define embedded test software requirements and design hardware functional test plans, setups, and validation benches.
• Perform bench-level hardware testing and support EMC, environmental, and customer validation activities.
• Provide manufacturing support, troubleshoot production issues, and participate in root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in automotive electronics or e-Mobility hardware.
• Strong understanding of embedded hardware systems and system-level architecture design.
• Experience with hardware testing, validation environments, and problem-solving methods such as 8D and RCA.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to combine system-level thinking and attention to detail.
• Fluent English required. Knowledge of German or French is a plus.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of AIAG/VDA FMEA and ISO 26262.
• Experience with automotive inverters, ECUs, or onboard chargers.
