What you will do

• Deliver innovative vacuum engineering solutions for the MAST-U fusion experiment.
• Design and specify engineering equipment for real-world fusion projects.
• Test, commission, and improve vacuum system performance.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers and technical specialists to solve complex engineering challenges.
• Develop technical, project management, and leadership skills through an accredited graduate programme.

Requirements

• Degree in Science or Engineering completed between 2025 and 2027.
• Strong motivation to learn and take on new challenges.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Good organisation, adaptability, and workload-planning skills.
