TL;DR
Graduate Project Engineer (Subsea and ROV): Supporting the planning and delivery of subsea and marine projects in Perth with an accent on engineering documentation, equipment mobilisation, offshore readiness, and project coordination. Focus on participating in engineering studies, risk assessments, HAZIDs, constructability reviews, and progress tracking across the project lifecycle.

Location: Perth, Western Australia, Australia; hybrid work arrangement with a West Perth base. Australian working rights are required; visa sponsorship is not offered.

What you will do

  • Support Project Managers and Senior Engineers with planning and execution of subsea and ROV project work scopes.
  • Prepare project documentation, engineering deliverables, design reviews, and technical reports.
  • Coordinate project activities with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Assist with equipment preparation, mobilisation planning, and offshore readiness.
  • Support schedule, budget, and progress tracking.
  • Participate in engineering studies, risk assessments, HAZIDs, and constructability reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Structural, Ocean Engineering, or Naval Architecture.
  • Recent graduation or up to two years of postgraduate engineering experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary teamwork.
  • Ability to obtain offshore survival certification and pass the associated medical examination.
  • Evidence of Australian working rights is required; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Nice to have

  • Exposure to SolidWorks, AutoCAD, OrcaFlex, or similar engineering software.
