Technical Writer (Fintech)

Location: Remote from Wrocław or Bielsko-Biała, Poland; occasional travel to the client’s office in Dublin, Ireland may be required.

Salary: 90–100 PLN/h + VAT on a B2B contract.

What you will do

• Create and maintain technical documentation for financial software products.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, QA engineers, and subject-matter experts to gather and verify information.
• Translate technical and domain-specific language into clear content for diverse audiences.
• Structure and refine documentation based on usability needs, user feedback, software updates, and evolving requirements.
• Follow documentation standards and style guides while improving documentation processes and knowledge-sharing practices.

Requirements

• Excellent written and spoken English is required.
• Experience writing technical documentation for software products, preferably in complex domains.
• Ability to quickly understand new tools, systems, and technical concepts.
• Experience with structured authoring and content tools such as Oxygen Editor, FrameMaker, RoboHelp, or similar.
• Working knowledge of XML, HTML, or SGML and familiarity with documentation standards such as DITA and content management systems.
• Ability to create visuals or diagrams representing data flows or system architecture, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in lending, debt collection, or financial services.
