Senior GL Accountant

What you will do

• Own monthly corporate close activities for assigned entities.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and required statistical reports.
• Coordinate external audits, including audit schedules, supporting documentation, and responses to auditor inquiries.
• Perform account analysis and monthly reconciliations to ensure accurate and complete journal entries and balances.
• Maintain compliance with statutory accounting regulations, professional standards, and reporting deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors on financial reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar role.
• Experience with Polish statutory accounting and preparation of Polish statutory financial statements is preferred.
• Knowledge of GUS statistical reporting requirements and compliance obligations.
• Experience supporting and coordinating external audits.
• Fluent English and Polish, including professional business and accounting terminology.

• Experience working in a matrix organization.
• Data analytics experience.
• Knowledge of ERP systems.
