Wing Loads and Aeroelastics Engineer

What you will do

• Establish finite element model loading and wing airframe design requirements.
• Calculate, interpret, and deliver static and fatigue external loads for wing components across hirify.global aircraft programmes.
• Support wing airframe design teams in applying load data.
• Support flight test campaigns to validate load calculations.
• Contribute to aircraft optimization and identify and manage technical risks through multidisciplinary engineering approaches.
• Improve engineering quality, processes, methods, and tools while developing capabilities in data analytics, Model Based Systems Engineering, and artificial intelligence.

Requirements

• Engineering or STEM degree, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Good understanding of flight physics.
• Familiarity with airframe disciplines, particularly static stress or fatigue and damage tolerance.
• Strong communication, teamwork, interpersonal, customer relationship, and negotiation skills.
• Basic project management experience and a strong focus on quality compliance and attention to detail.
• Negotiation-level English is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Python, NASTRAN, HyperWorks, Linux, and/or MATLAB.
• Interest in creative solutions to complex engineering problems and willingness to learn and share knowledge.
