Software Engineer (Java/AWS)

What you will do

• Develop high-performance Java and Node.js microservices using Spring Boot, Spring WebFlux, Spring Cloud, and RESTful APIs.
• Design large-scale e-commerce systems, including API contracts, data flows, service decomposition, high availability, and fault tolerance.
• Architect and deploy cloud-native backend services on AWS using ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and related services.
• Implement event-driven communication with Kafka and AWS SQS/SNS, and optimize NoSQL, relational database, and caching strategies.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments with GitHub Actions, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Improve observability and production reliability with New Relic, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, Prometheus, automated testing, and incident-resolution practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in software development and scalable backend or distributed systems.
• At least 3 years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices, DynamoDB, MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• At least 1 year of experience with AWS services including ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB.
• At least 1 year of experience with distributed event-driven systems using Kafka and AWS SQS/SNS.
• Experience translating ambiguous business requirements into technical specifications and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI and automation platforms for internal engineering tools.
• Experience evaluating modern frameworks and integrating engineering tools.
