SAP HCM Payroll Consultant (German)

What you will do

• Provide functional consulting and application support for SAP HCM Payroll PY-DE solutions.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues across Payroll, PA, OM, and PT.
• Configure and customize SAP HCM systems to meet business, legal, and statutory requirements.
• Participate in implementation projects, enhancements, change requests, testing, defect resolution, and deployments.
• Collaborate with HR departments, business stakeholders, technical teams, German-speaking customers, and project teams.

Requirements

• Professional experience in consulting, implementation, and application support for complex SAP HCM solutions, especially German Payroll PY-DE.
• Hands-on experience with payroll configuration, schemas, PCRs, wage types, payroll processing, retroactive accounting, and FI integration.
• Experience with SAP Notes, OSS Notes, HR Support Packages, and year-end payroll activities.
• Knowledge of German HR and payroll processes, including ELStAM, DEÜV, social insurance reporting, rvBEA, and SAP HCM B2A processes.
• Fluency in German and English, spoken and written, is required.
• Experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into SAP solutions.

• Experience integrating SAP HCM with SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Experience with SAP HR interfaces and reporting.
