Fabrication Engineer (Quantum Hardware)

hirify.global develops superconducting quantum processors using its VIO technology to overcome hardware limitations and scale quantum computing.

What you will do

• Operate and take ownership of cleanroom fabrication processes such as sputtering, etching, and evaporation.
• Maintain fabrication equipment and keep processes in optimal condition for superconducting devices.
• Work with R&D to transfer and standardize new fabrication processes for production.
• Collect and analyze process data to identify root causes and improve yield and reproducibility.
• Maintain process documentation, recipes, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Experience in an industrial or academic cleanroom.
• Basic knowledge of semiconductor or superconducting device fabrication.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration across R&D and production teams.
• Organized and detail-oriented approach to documentation and established procedures.
• Ability to work on-site in Delft, Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical or engineering field such as physics, electrical engineering, or materials science.
