Site Construction Manager (Energy-from-Waste)

Location: Initially based in London, United Kingdom, working on a London project; the role may evolve into a global position.

What you will do

• Lead Health, Safety, Environment and Quality activities across the construction site.
• Manage daily mechanical, electrical and civil construction works.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers and site engineers.
• Control programme progress, reporting, inspections and handover activities.
• Deputise for the Site Manager and represent the site in a senior leadership capacity.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of extensive EPC construction experience on large-scale industrial, Energy-from-Waste or power plant projects valued at £100–500M.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical or process environments, including contracts, site coordination and project management.
• Engineering degree or equivalent, SMSTS or equivalent, and valid CSCS, SCC or CCNSG certification.
• Strong planning, problem-solving, leadership and communication skills across multiple contractors and disciplines.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• APM or similar project management qualification.
• German or additional language skills.
• Experience with Primavera, MS Project, SAP, SharePoint or PIRS.
