Lead, Inbound Insights & CIP Management (China)

What you will do

• Oversee end-to-end global inbound transportation from suppliers to hirify.global distribution centers.
• Manage control tower operations, delivery visibility, exception resolution, and inbound logistics performance.
• Lead continuous improvement projects covering network design, lead-time reduction, container utilization, and landed-cost control.
• Translate logistics data into operational strategies using analytics, AI tools, Power BI dashboards, and EDI data quality management.
• Manage 3PL and 4PL freight forwarders, including evaluations, scorecards, onboarding, SLA compliance, and service improvements.
• Coordinate with planning, procurement, regional control centers, and manufacturing operations to optimize transport modes and mitigate disruptions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business analytics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in global logistics or transportation management, with expert knowledge of end-to-end inbound logistics.
• Experience operating within or leading an end-to-end logistics control tower.
• Practical expertise in carrier networks, customs, regulatory environments, business analysis, dashboards, and quantitative problem-solving.
• Experience driving mid-term and long-term process optimization, continuous improvement projects, budget management, landed-cost modeling, and freight audit support.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional global teams and manage complex logistics projects.

Nice to have

• Practical application of AI in supply chain management or logistics.
• PMP certification and experience using Asana or similar project management software.
• Master’s degree or professional certification such as CSCP.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume global organization.
