Implementation Specialist (AI/AML)

What you will do

• Assess customer requirements across AML, fraud detection, transaction monitoring, and screening, and advise on best-practice configuration.
• Translate policies, regulatory obligations, screening algorithms, and risk factors into rules, customer risk ratings, and workflows.
• Lead data mapping and technical integrations through APIs, batch mechanisms, SFTP, SSO, and customer systems.
• Support testing, UAT, troubleshooting, sign-off, and successful transition to production.
• Plan and manage implementations from contract signature to go-live, owning documentation, milestones, stakeholder updates, and delivery risks.
• Train customer teams, act as the primary implementation contact, and provide structured feedback to Customer Value, Product, Development, and go-to-market teams.

Requirements

• 6+ years in implementation consulting or solution consulting, including at least 3 years implementing AML, fraud, or screening solutions.
• Strong AML and compliance expertise, including typologies, regulatory expectations, monitoring programmes, and explainable AI; able to defend rule sets to an MLRO.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, APIs, CSV, JSON, data modelling, SWIFT MT, ISO 20022, SEPA, and card data.
• Experience delivering complex implementations for banks or other financial institutions, potentially several in parallel, through on-time go-live.
• Fluent English and business-fluent German required for collaboration with DACH customers.
• Degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• CAMS or equivalent certification.
• Experience in a second-line compliance or MLRO team.
