Legal Counsel SE/NO (Fintech)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden; hybrid setup with four days in the office and one day from home if desired.

What you will do

• Review consumer-facing terms and ensure products and practices comply with Swedish and Norwegian law.
• Review marketing campaigns, advertising, and product communications against marketing rules and financial supervisory guidelines.
• Handle customer complaints, legal queries, ARN cases, Finansklagenemnda matters, and first-line consumer credit and collections questions.
• Review and negotiate vendor agreements, NDAs, and partnership contracts using established templates and guidelines.
• Maintain legal templates and processes, train customer support on common legal issues, and support board secretarial work and statutory filings.

Requirements

• Law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
• Experience with Swedish consumer, financial services, and/or marketing law; Norwegian legal knowledge is a strong plus.
• Experience reviewing or drafting vendor agreements, NDAs, or partnership terms.
• Strong written communication in Swedish and/or Norwegian, with professional fluency in English.
• Structured, detail-oriented approach with an interest in consumer protection and financial regulation.
• Ability to provide practical legal guidance, challenge assumptions, and explain requirements to non-legal teams.
