Legal Counsel (Fintech)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden; office-first headquarters role with remote work available one day per week

What you will do

• Manage legal and regulatory matters across corporate, privacy, marketing, and contract law.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, partner agreements, and data processing agreements.
• Conduct legal research and prepare practical assessments for product development and geographic expansion.
• Advise on AML, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements.
• Monitor legislative changes and translate legal updates into actionable requirements for internal teams.

Requirements

• University degree in Law, LL.M., or equivalent.
• A few years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department, preferably in financial services or another regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, GDPR, and AML regulations.
• Full professional proficiency in Swedish and English.
• Ability to work from the Stockholm headquarters under an office-first arrangement.
