Manager Design & Construction Europe

Location: Amsterdam Office, Netherlands; European project scope with travel of up to 75% after receiving an indefinite contract.

What you will do

• Coordinate and execute European design and construction projects with the Senior Director Design & Construction.
• Review existing and new facilities, define engineering requirements, and coordinate architects, contractors, designers, vendors, and construction managers.
• Manage design timelines from initial concept through final design approval and coordinate required construction permits.
• Develop construction schedules, monitor budgets and invoices, and prepare financial forecasts.
• Coordinate pre-construction meetings, change orders, punch lists, as-built drawings, and operations and maintenance manuals.
• Support the transition from construction to opening and lead selected new facility projects.

Requirements

• Degree in HTS Bouwkunde or a comparable international qualification.
• 4–5 years of project management experience across different European countries, with an emphasis on Schiphol.
• Experience coordinating outsourced construction and development resources.
• Excellent social and management skills, including specialized management training.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills required.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time after receiving an indefinite contract.

• Experience in food and beverage operations.
