Fleet Finance Business Partner (Automotive)

Location: Sydney, Australia; hybrid arrangement with 2–3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Lead budgeting and forecasting for fleet-related costs and assets.
• Manage month-end fleet reporting, variance analysis, commentary, and performance dashboards.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and oversee vehicle asset accounting, depreciation, and fleet expenses.
• Perform residual value analysis and depreciation modelling for financial planning.
• Partner with Fleet, Procurement, and Operations on vehicle procurement, replacement planning, write-offs, and lifecycle analysis.
• Improve data accuracy, system integration, reporting efficiency, and financial controls while supporting audit requirements.

Requirements

• CA or CPA qualification.
• At least 3 years of experience in FP&A, management accounting, commercial finance, finance business partnering, or a similar role.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capability.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and month-end reporting.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, organisational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience in fleet, automotive, leasing, or another asset-intensive environment is highly regarded.
