TL;DR
Assistant Design Engineer (NX/HVACR): Creating and maintaining engineering change notices, BOMs, drawings, and mechanical design documentation for global new product development and sustaining programs with an accent on engineering change processes, BOM analysis, and drawing quality. Focus on analyzing impacted parts and assemblies, setting up Teamcenter BOMs, and resolving workflow and BOM issues with global engineering teams.

What you will do
- Review product-team RFES submissions and clarify or correct engineering change requirements with project engineers.
- Analyze BOM changes to identify impacted parts, assemblies, models, and plants.
- Prepare high-quality ECN packages containing engineering change notices, Excel BOMs, NX models and drawings, mechanical specifications, and Teamcenter settings.
- Initiate and track ECN workflows in Teamcenter, resolving rejected or stalled processes.
- Support BOM setup, plant operations, and customer-specific engineering requests.
- Apply global design standards to engineering changes and develop skills in force analysis and component design.
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
- 0–3 years of work experience.
- Proficiency in NX and Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with engineering drawings, GD&T, and mechanical design fundamentals.
- Understanding of BOM structures, ECNs, and drawing release processes is preferred.
- Strong English reading and writing skills are required; verbal communication skills are an advantage.
