Senior Manager, Application & Machine Learning Engineer (AI)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Full-time onsite role; travel required 00%–25%. Applicants must already be authorized to work full-time in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available. Relocation is not provided.

Salary: $152,000–$178,300 annual base pay, plus a 15% annual incentive reference value.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and enhance Fuelight applications for investment optimization, resource allocation, scenario planning, and decision intelligence.
• Build and operationalize machine learning capabilities for predictive modeling, investment recommendations, performance evaluation, and optimization outcomes.
• Translate analytical models into production-grade digital products and integrate data products, forecasting capabilities, optimization engines, and business-rule frameworks.
• Develop scalable architectures and intuitive user experiences for expansion across markets, operating units, bottling partners, and business processes.
• Implement MLOps capabilities covering deployment, monitoring, governance, retraining, observability, and model lifecycle management.
• Establish engineering standards and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing, Finance, Commercial, Franchise, Revenue Growth Management, and Bottler stakeholders while meeting cybersecurity, privacy, responsible AI, and governance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, application engineering, digital product development, or enterprise technology delivery, including 4+ years developing, deploying, and supporting machine learning or artificial intelligence solutions in production.
• Experience building cloud-native, data-intensive applications using modern engineering practices and scalable architectures.
• Strong expertise in machine learning engineering, predictive modeling, optimization techniques, and decision-support applications.
• Experience with MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, model monitoring, automated testing, and deployment automation.
• Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and enterprise application integration.
• Experience developing products using advanced analytics, forecasting, optimization, recommendation engines, or scenario planning.
• Ability to translate complex analytical concepts into intuitive user-facing applications and digital experiences.
• Experience working in product-centric and Agile delivery models with cross-functional global teams; knowledge of responsible AI, model explainability, governance, cybersecurity, and data privacy.
• Strong collaboration, communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management, digital fluency, data literacy, and AI fluency, with the ability to evaluate and adopt emerging technologies that create business value.
