TL;DR

Focus on designing microservices and APIs, integrating AI/ML components, leading technical decisions, and mentoring engineers.

Location: USA, Bentonville, Arkansas; onsite at the ISD Office - DGTC AR BENTONVILLE Home Office

Salary: $110,000–$220,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and potential stock compensation.

What you will do

  • Deliver scalable platform capabilities, including infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks.
  • Own the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Conduct system design reviews and ensure alignment with architectural standards.
  • Build AI-driven applications and integrate machine learning components.
  • Mentor engineers, influence technical decisions, and promote reusable engineering practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to convert complex problems into technical requirements and measurable metrics.

Requirements

  • Experience with cloud-native architecture, microservices, containers, and automation.
  • Strong knowledge of software design patterns, API design, and platform development.
  • Experience leading software lifecycle activities, including CI/CD deployment and maintenance.
  • Ability to perform design reviews, debugging, and remedial code-quality improvements.
  • Experience integrating AI/ML components and developing intelligent automation with multiple programming languages.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 4 years of software engineering experience, or 6 years of relevant experience.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices.
