Associate/Vice President, Asia Credit Research Analyst

What you will do

• Conduct fundamental, bottom-up credit research on corporate issuers across Asia-Pacific industries and sectors.
• Analyze business models, competitive positioning, capital structures, financial performance, liquidity, and credit fundamentals.
• Build and maintain financial models, earnings forecasts, valuation frameworks, and relative value analyses.
• Generate independent investment recommendations and differentiated ideas for regional and global portfolio managers.
• Monitor portfolio holdings, market developments, emerging risks, and new investment opportunities.
• Communicate research views through written reports, presentations, company meetings, and collaboration with global investment teams.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in corporate credit research, investing, or a related discipline.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English across speaking, reading, and writing.
• Experience independently covering sectors and developing actionable investment recommendations and financial models.
• Ability to assess bottom-up company fundamentals alongside top-down macroeconomic and industry trends.
• Strong understanding of Asian corporate credit markets and institutional investment processes.
• Ability to influence investment decisions through differentiated research and conviction-driven views.

Nice to have

• Experience covering Asian corporate credits across multiple industrial sectors and countries.
• Private credit, debt restructuring advisory, or distressed credit investment experience.
• MBA, CFA, or CMA designation.
• Spanish or Japanese language skills.
