Legal Editor (Criminal & DUI Law)

Location: United States; remote candidates must be prepared to travel to the Bay Area office from time to time.

Salary: Starting at $80,000 per year, depending on skills, qualifications, and experience.

What you will do

• Write and edit legally accurate, accessible articles on criminal and DUI law.
• Use and refine AI-supported workflows to deliver accurate content updates efficiently.
• Train and collaborate with freelance writers and integrate their work into editorial processes.
• Update content for accuracy, usefulness, and editorial style.
• Contribute legal expertise to book editing, social media, and other content projects.

Requirements

• Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to a consumer audience.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and integrate AI tools into daily work.
• Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school and no professional disciplinary history.
• At least two years of experience practicing as an attorney, including criminal law or DUI experience.
• Ability and willingness to create and edit content in additional areas of law.
