Systems Engineer - Data Security

Location: Hybrid; applicants progressing to the offer stage may be asked to attend an in-person interview at a hirify.global office or hub.

What you will do

• Build and maintain Data Security products that provide visibility into cloud and SaaS security opportunities, network traffic, and product usage.
• Develop new functionality for APIs and distributed software systems.
• Maintain performance and reliability for services ingesting millions of data points each day.
• Debug, optimize, and improve large-scale software systems.
• Help solve security and network visibility challenges for customers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience building and managing reliable, performant software systems at scale.
• Experience with Go, Python, and PostgreSQL is preferred.
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new programming languages, technologies, and systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Any offer may be conditioned on authorization to receive technology controlled under U.S. export control laws without sponsorship for an export license.

Nice to have

• Frontend programming experience with TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs.
• Previous experience working on security products.
