Senior Manager, Affirm Bank Operations Enablement (Fintech)

Location: Remote within the United States

Base pay: $195,000–$255,000 per year in CA, WA, NY, NJ, and CT; $173,000–$233,000 per year in other U.S. states.

What you will do

• Own implementation, configuration, administration, and controlled production changes for the Finxact core banking platform.
• Manage digital account-opening, online banking, and mobile banking platforms, including requirements, integrations, user-acceptance testing, releases, and issue resolution.
• Lead bank launch readiness, operating-model design, procedures, staffing, training, testing, cutover, hypercare, and transition to business-as-usual operations.
• Direct deposit and lending operations, including funding, ACH and wire processing, reconciliations, loan boarding, settlement, exceptions, disputes, and regulatory reporting.
• Oversee loan purchase and sale operations, vendor performance, business continuity, disaster recovery, and operational resilience.
• Build and lead the Bank Operations team, establish performance and control metrics, and partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, Treasury, Compliance, Risk, Fraud, and Audit.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in banking operations, digital banking, fintech, or core-platform delivery, including team leadership in a regulated financial institution.
• Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, converting, or administering a core banking platform; Finxact or another cloud-native, API-first core is preferred.
• Experience with digital account-opening and online or mobile banking platforms, integrations, testing, releases, production support, and vendor change.
• Deep knowledge of deposit and lending operations, ACH, wires, checks, reconciliations, general-ledger impacts, loan funding, boarding, and settlement.
• Experience designing controls, segregation of duties, approval authorities, access management, quality assurance, audit support, and regulatory-examination readiness.
• Must be eligible to work remotely within the United States; visa sponsorship is not available. Periodic after-hours support is required for releases, cutovers, incidents, and continuity events.

Nice to have

• Experience building a de novo bank, launching a new bank or digital-banking program, or completing a core conversion.
• Familiarity with SQL, data pipelines, and business-intelligence tools.
