Software Engineering Group Manager

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Full-time onsite role with 00%–25% travel. Applicants must already be authorized to work full-time in the United States. No relocation is provided.

Salary: $202,000–$229,000 annual base pay, plus a 30% annual incentive reference value.

What you will do

• Manage, coach, and grow engineers across full-stack, frontend, and backend disciplines.
• Lead technical direction and architecture across services, web and mobile interfaces, APIs, platforms, and cloud environments.
• Partner with Product, Design, Data Engineering, and Data Analytics to define outcomes, roadmaps, data products, and ML-powered experiences.
• Coordinate delivery across multiple services, applications, teams, and shared dependencies.
• Establish standards for APIs, UI architecture, data contracts, eventing, testing, observability, and CI/CD.
• Manage technical risk and drive improvements in reliability, performance, availability, cost efficiency, and technical debt.

Requirements

• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States without company sponsorship is required.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience building and shipping production-grade applications.
• 3+ years of people management experience leading software engineers.
• Experience setting technical direction across services, web or mobile UIs, cloud platforms, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Experience with data engineering, ML delivery patterns, MLOps, model monitoring, and responsible AI practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience leading multiple teams or larger engineering groups with shared services and cross-team dependencies.
• Experience building internal platforms or reusable components that accelerate product delivery.
• Experience contributing to product discovery and solution design.
