What you will do

• Own the strategic vision and multi-year roadmap for an AI-driven silicon design platform.
• Build and scale an engineering organization of managers and senior engineers while setting technical direction.
• Lead platform architecture across GPU, cloud, and containerized environments with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
• Establish MLOps standards, model lifecycle management, AI monitoring, and automation practices.
• Coordinate with engineering, design, verification, performance, security, compliance, and customer-facing stakeholders.
• Own vendor evaluations, build-versus-buy decisions, budget planning, headcount, and resource allocation.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in engineering leadership managing managers or multi-team organizations.
• Experience building and scaling production AI/ML platforms and leading inference pipelines or training workflows across cloud and containerized environments.
• Strong technical fluency with Python, modern machine learning frameworks, transformers, embeddings, fine-tuning, and model deployment.
• Expertise in vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation, knowledge graphs, prompt engineering, or AI platform optimization.
• Experience setting standards for Git workflows, containerization, ML pipelines, and automation across distributed teams.
• Executive-level communication skills and experience presenting technical strategy and business impact to senior leadership and customers.

Nice to have

• Master's or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or 18+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or custom RAG architectures.
• Experience in semiconductor, EDA, or related deep-tech industries.
• Experience establishing MLOps and model automation standards across multiple teams.
• Strong organizational design, change-management, strategic planning, and business acumen.
