IT Infrastructure Project Manager

Location: Hybrid work in Oakland, California, from a remote office and an assigned work location within the PG&E Service Territory, based on business need.

Salary: $10,074–$15,320 per month

What you will do

• Manage multiple small to medium-sized IT infrastructure projects across scope, schedule, cost, quality, and performance objectives.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, work plans, budgets, forecasts, resource plans, and change requests.
• Coordinate engineering, design, construction, EPCM, sourcing, legal, vendors, clients, agencies, and landowners.
• Track milestones, risks, issues, deliverables, project status, financial progress, and resource and contract costs.
• Manage SAP orders, IT clearances, project documentation, compliance activities, settlements, and project closure.
• Lead project meetings, communicate with stakeholders and management, and support process improvements, training, and lessons learned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or Engineering, or PMI PMP certification.
• At least 3 years of project management experience.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies such as SONET, DWDM, fiber, or microwave is desirable.
• Ability to manage project budgets, forecasts, schedules, scope changes, risks, documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to negotiate with stakeholders, interpret financial indicators, communicate with different audiences, and build collaborative partnerships.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement from an assigned location within the PG&E Service Territory.

Nice to have

• PMI PMP certification.
• Knowledge of workforce planning analytics and project management best practices.
• Experience negotiating stakeholder agreements and third-party contracts.
