Technical Consultant (System Integrations, AI, REST APIs & React)

What you will do

• Investigate and resolve defined to moderately complex application and technical issues using structured troubleshooting.
• Gather customer requirements, business processes, expected outcomes, and technical context.
• Analyze application behavior, code, logs, API responses, integrations, data, and configuration to identify causes and implement fixes or workarounds.
• Prototype, configure, test, and debug applications, integrations, reports, scripts, and related solutions.
• Use REST APIs and tools such as Bruno, Postman, or Insomnia to validate requests, authentication, payloads, and integration behavior.
• Communicate findings and resolution steps, collaborate with cross-functional teams, escalate issues with clear evidence, and document reusable solutions.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in application development, technical support, integrations, consulting, or a related technical role.
• Hands-on experience with React, Node, ES5/ES6 JavaScript, REST APIs, API clients, and inbound and outbound system integrations.
• Experience tracing data or transactions across connected systems and using Git or another version-control system.
• Working knowledge of SQL or relational databases; PostgreSQL and/or Oracle PL/SQL experience is desirable.
• Customer service or consulting experience with strong analytical, written, verbal, and active-listening skills.
• Strong English communication skills required; the role is remote in Mexico.

Nice to have

• Experience with GraphQL, help desk or incident-management systems, and workflow tools such as ProcessMaker.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle PL/SQL, or higher education and hirify.global products.
