Project Coordinator / Foundational Data (Public Health Data)

Location: Remote, Oregon, United States; must be a US citizen or able to obtain a US Government Public Trust 5 security clearance.

What you will do

• Coordinate the 1CDP Foundational Data portfolio, including plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and action items.
• Track datasets and data bundles through development, review, approval, and publication to the 1CDP Data Marketplace.
• Coordinate data stewardship, documentation, metadata, data quality review, versioning, governance approvals, and publication readiness.
• Facilitate meetings and working sessions, document decisions and actions, and drive follow-up through completion.
• Coordinate communication and handoffs across CDC leadership, data management, engineering, communications, data owners, and program teams.
• Develop status updates, dashboards, metrics, briefings, inventories, templates, and repeatable delivery workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in public health, health informatics, information systems, data management, business administration, project management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience coordinating projects or programs across multiple teams and driving deliverables to completion.
• Understanding of public health or healthcare programs and how data supports their objectives.
• Experience with project plans, schedules, trackers, action items, risks, issues, decisions, and project documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication, facilitation, organization, stakeholder coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be a US citizen or able to obtain a US Government Public Trust 5 security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with public health, healthcare, federal government, or data-intensive programs.
• Experience with SQL, Python, Palantir Foundry, 1CDP, or comparable cloud and data platforms.
• Knowledge of data stewardship, governance, metadata, data quality, data catalogs, or lifecycle management.
• Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Microsoft Planner.
• Experience preparing dashboards, status reports, executive briefings, or stakeholder communications.
