Senior Engineer, Production (Semiconductor)

Location: Bedford, Massachusetts, United States; onsite production environment

Salary: $500–$122,00 per year, dependent on skills and experience

What you will do

• Sustain manufacturing processes to support safe, efficient, high-quality production.
• Lead data-driven improvements in safety, yield, throughput, cost, process capability, and product variation.
• Troubleshoot equipment and support capacity equipment and process qualifications.
• Own product quality across the manufacturing lifecycle and maintain SPC, FMEAs, Control Plans, risk management tools, and quality systems.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions for manufacturing and quality issues.
• Support new product introductions, process transfers, scale-ups, manufacturing releases, technical documentation, and operator training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, technical writing, communication, project management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to present technical data to internal stakeholders and external customers.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, structured problem-solving, process control, and complex investigations.
