Senior Director, Medical Strategy Lead- Obesity, Endocrinologist

Location: Remote role associated with Reading, Berkshire, United Kingdom; occasional national or international travel of at least 20% required.

What you will do

• Provide strategic medical and scientific expertise in obesity and endocrinology.
• Develop strategic proposals independently with the proposal development team.
• Lead client proposal bid defense meetings as medical director and subject matter expert.
• Advise customers throughout research and development and clinical trial lifecycles.
• Formulate clinical development plans and lead the strategic direction of the Center of Excellence.
• Collaborate across the organization to coordinate resources and support customer solutions.

Requirements

• MD terminal degree with training in the relevant therapeutic area.
• Board certification required.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a CRO setting.
• Senior strategic leadership experience and significant expertise in obesity, especially for candidates from a CRO background.
• Practical experience leading processes, projects, and tactics within research and development.
