Senior Director, Medical Strategy Lead - Rheumatology (m/w/d)

Location: Frankfurt, Hesse, Germany; remote work indicated by the #LI-Remote designation. Occasional national or international travel of at least 20% is required.

What you will do

• Provide strategic medical and scientific expertise in rheumatology across clinical development and clinical trials.
• Develop strategic proposals independently with the proposal development team.
• Lead client proposal bid defense meetings as medical director and subject matter expert.
• Consult throughout the research and development lifecycle or deliver standalone customer solutions.
• Formulate clinical development plans and lead the strategic direction of the Center of Excellence.
• Collaborate across the organization to leverage relevant resources and contribute to thought leadership.

Requirements

• Terminal MD degree with training in rheumatology.
• Board certification in rheumatology.
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a CRO setting.
• Senior strategic experience and strong leadership capabilities, particularly for candidates from a CRO background.
• Practical experience leading processes, projects, and tactics within a research and development therapeutic area.
