Equipment Maintenance Technician I

Location: Pullman, Washington, United States; onsite

Pay range: $34.81–$51.39 per hour

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues identified during preventive maintenance and reactive service calls.
• Complete assigned maintenance tasks under the guidance of supervisors and senior technicians.
• Maintain accurate records in the equipment maintenance database.
• Apply company operating and manufacturing principles while supporting equipment reliability.
• Perform physical maintenance activities including lifting up to 40 pounds, reaching, bending, gripping, twisting, and standing or sitting for at least eight hours.

Requirements

• Associate degree in electronic technology or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of electronic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic technologies.
• Experience maintaining and performing preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Basic knowledge of analog and digital electronics and modern test equipment used to diagnose failures.
• Expertise in Excel, Word, and Access, along with strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Satisfactory background check and negative drug test required.

Nice to have

• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment, including microprocessor circuits, vision systems, and robotics.
• Basic knowledge of programming automated production equipment.
• Knowledge of printed circuit board assembly, mechanical assembly, and cable assembly processes.
