Estimated starting salary: $94,345.12–$129,724.54 per year

What you will do

  • Design, develop, test, and optimize software components for advanced aerospace systems.
  • Debug and troubleshoot complex software issues.
  • Support software integration with hardware systems and contribute to protocol development.
  • Develop software requirements and specifications.
  • Write code documentation, conduct code reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain software quality and engineering standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; a higher relevant degree may substitute for experience.
  • At least 2 years of software development experience.
  • Proficiency in C++, C#, Java, or Python.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles, software development practices, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance are required.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional travel.

Nice to have

  • Experience with C, C#, C++, HTML, Java, Python, Bash, Linux/RHEL, and Windows services.
  • Experience with requirements tracking, code reviews, static analysis, repositories, and automated build tools.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or Spiral methodologies and basic data structures.
  • Experience with tactical or moving-map software integration and hardware integration.
