Intern, Software Engineer (Embedded)

What you will do

• Develop and test embedded software for real-time control and system performance.
• Participate in requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing across the software development lifecycle.
• Develop software for advanced tactical radio equipment and embedded real-time operating systems.
• Design and evaluate hardware/software interfaces and operational performance requirements with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Create test procedures, software programs, technical documentation, and experimental evaluations.
• Participate in peer reviews, debugging, defect tracking, and defect resolution.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, information security, or a related field.
• A bachelor's degree completed within the last 12 months is also accepted.
• Experience or ability to work with software development concepts, embedded systems, testing, and debugging.
• Many positions may require a security clearance; security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.
• Pre-employment background checks and substance abuse testing may apply where permitted by law.
