Talent Acquisition Partner I (Aerospace & Defense)

What you will do

• Source and attract qualified candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and other channels.
• Review applications, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate subsequent interview stages.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR business partners to define requirements and recruitment strategies.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records in the applicant tracking system and use analytics to improve recruiting processes.
• Promote diverse hiring practices and provide clear, timely communication throughout the candidate experience.
• Support onboarding and the transition of new hires into the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or four years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• 0–2 years of experience in talent acquisition or a related field.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, recruitment software, employment laws, and regulations.
• Strong organizational, project management, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
• Must meet U.S. Government international trade authorization requirements, including U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, protected individual status, or eligibility to obtain the required authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience in the aerospace and defense industry or technical recruiting.
• HR or talent acquisition certification such as PHR, SHRM-CP, or AIRS.
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Workday ATS, Beamery CRM, salary negotiation, and candidate closing.
• Experience supporting recruitment searches in a service-focused organization of comparable size and complexity.
