Location: Remote-Wisconsin

Salary: $70,320–$105,480 per year. Geographic-specific pay structures may apply, including $77,360–$116,040 and $80,880–$121,320.

What you will do

• Provide cardiovascular expertise to underwriters by analyzing provider medical records, test results, treatment history, and case referrals.
• Screen and interpret EKGs and assess echocardiograms, stress tests, cardiac MRIs, and other cardiovascular studies.
• Research, develop, write, revise, and apply less complex proprietary medical standards under supervision.
• Communicate risk assessments, rationale, recommendations, and reconsiderations to underwriters and technical underwriting consultants.
• Provide medical education and training for new life, disability income, and long-term care underwriters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing and registered nurse credentials.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in cardiovascular medicine.
• Experience in a specialized cardiac unit or clinic, including evaluation of cardiovascular impairments and diagnostic tests.
• Strong critical decision-making, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of computer functions and experience in a Windows environment.
• Willingness to participate in LOMA/ALU or other industry programs.
