What you will do

• Produce components and assemblies for fuel and oxidizer turbopumps used in Aeon-R and Aeon-R Vac engines.
• Own manufacturing trade studies and develop processes for fabricating, testing, and delivering propulsion hardware and subassemblies.
• Serve as the primary interface between manufacturing and design teams during Aeon-R architecture optimization.
• Develop and scale manufacturing operations for flight engines and support production at launch rate.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to resolve complex issues involving rocket turbopumps and additively manufactured hardware.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or related technical degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with turbopump assembly procedures, including rotor balancing, interference fits, clearance checks, structural proofing, and leak checks.
• Manufacturing process experience in fluid testing, machining, and additive manufacturing.
• Knowledge of general assembly and test procedures, tolerance stack-up analysis, structural proof testing, and pressurized leak checks.
• Experience with Siemens NX or other CAD and analysis tools.
• Experience designing tooling, including conceptualization, modeling, drafting, and detailed analysis.

Nice to have

• Experience with additively manufactured engine hardware.
• Knowledge of GD&T according to ASME Y14.5 and industry specifications.
• Experience in a startup or agile development environment.
• Experience working on a flight development program.
