Senior Manager, Fund Accounting, Private Markets

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada; hybrid working

Salary: CAD 105,000–154,000 yearly

What you will do

• Manage the quality and timeliness of deliverables for private equity, private debt, and real estate fund portfolios.
• Review NAV calculations, fees, waterfalls, capital activity, investor reporting, and ILPA-style performance metrics.
• Review financial statements and supporting schedules for compliance with accounting standards and client requirements.
• Lead planning meetings, coordinate priorities, manage deadlines, and act as the first escalation point for clients and third parties.
• Oversee onboarding for new funds, including transaction requirements, reporting needs, systems, and reporting design.
• Lead, coach, and performance-manage team members while driving process improvements and resolving delivery risks.

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in fund administration or audit.
• Experience managing complex mandates, client escalations, and delivery risk.
• Proficiency with Investran or other accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of private equity and private debt fund structures, investor reporting, and fund accounting systems.
• CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional accounting designation is preferred.
